Children’s Mental Health week 2025

This year we are focusing on raising children’s self esteem.

We know that low self esteem can lead to mental health problems, but that children with high self esteem don’t get bullied and don’t join gangs. So lets do everything we can to future proof our kids by helping them have good positive self esteem.

This year we have two films for you to choose from, depending on your child’s age, extra information for parents and a colouring competition, with great prizes, open to all Preschool and Primary Aged children.

For Preschool and Key Stage 1 Children (Aged 3-7 years) our film is: There is only one ME

Watch the film and then together complete the worksheet helping them understand that they are precious and unique.

For Key Stage 2 children (aged 7-11 years) our film is: I am Unique

As parents you are key to helping your children. Please spend a few moments watching the film which shows additional things you can do to raise your child’s self esteem.

If you are showing the material within a group or club please do use the parents letter to explain to parents what you’ve been looking at.

If you have found the material useful please do consider if you could make us a donation. we are encouraging schools and clubs to have a non uniform day/ cake sale to raise funds.
