Children’s Mental Health week 2025
3rd - 9th February 2025
This year with our elves we are focusing on raising children’s self esteem.
We know that children with high self esteem don’t get bullied and don’t join gangs. We also know that low self esteem can lead to mental health problems.
So lets do everything we can to future proof our kids by helping them have good positive self esteem.
This year we have two films for you to choose from, depending on your child’s age, extra information for parents and a colouring competition, with great prizes, open to all Preschool and Primary Aged children.
If you can make a donation to the great work we are doing we would hugely appreciate it.
For Preschool and Key Stage 1 Children (Aged 3-7 years) our film is: There is only one ME
Watch the film and then together complete the worksheet helping them understand that they are precious and unique.
As parents you are key to helping your children. Please read the attached letter explaining other ways you can help to raise your children’s self esteem
For Key Stage 2 children (aged 7-11 years) our film is: I am Unique
We want to celebrate how individual unique and creative children are so this year we have a Children’s Mental health colouring competition they can enter with their finished ‘Theres only one Me’ or ‘I am Unique’ posters.
To enter the competition:
Parents must give permission and take a photo of the finished poster and upload it to the relevant aged application form (links below)
Children can only enter one poster each and it must be in the relevant age category (Preschool and Key stage 1 (up to year 2 in school )3-7 years; Key stage 2, (years 3-6 in school) 7-11 years.
All posters must be submitted via the website by 5pm Sat 22nd February. Any applications outside of this will not be judged as part of the competition but will still be displayed on the website.

The judges and elves will review all applications and the judges decision is final. One winner from each age group will then be contacted and invited to choose their prize from the prize options (see below) The judges decision is final.
